APRIL 2018 - For some culinary and cultural horizon broadening, accompanied by best spring weather, the team of GREEN-M went to Barcelona - second largest city of Spain and capital of Catalonia - in April 2018.

First power up

In the morning we neutralized our bodies and spirits for the new day with sumptuous breakfast food prepared by our early risers. Thank you again at this point! We also had a great start to the day with freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of savory-sweet treats at fair prices in the bistro of a nearby market hall.

Updates for head and palate

We started our daily city and pleasure adventures from our apartment in the Eixample District as soon as we had completed a few morning programming sessions for our clients and could break away from the terrace view of the Sagrada Familia.

Vamos a la playa!

Without a fixed plan in mind, but with solid soles under our feet and a metro day pass in our pockets, we set out to discover and live the city by the sea, its beach, its streets, alleys and squares with its people, its music, its cerveza, its tapas - just La Vida Loca.

Tapas instead of tablets

Impressed by the combination of quaint pubs, outdoor mucki stalls on the beach, public party atmosphere, drinking canned beer on kerbs in front of architectural backdrops ranging from Catalan Gothic to Gaudi, we stumbled into our absolute top restaurant tip. Bar La Ramona - a beer and tapas bar with an intimate atmosphere not far from the Sagrada Familia basilica, i.e. not far from our accommodation. From artichokes to a pretty blatant filet de vedella, we enjoyed our way through the world of tapas and enjoyed them with Estrella.

"La mejor forma de predecir el futuro es crearlo."

The best way to predict the future is to create it yourself.

Gran final

All the culinary inspirations we got hold of in the course of our short trip were combined on the last evening into a self-prepared taste experience buffet. This culinary culmination was perfected when musical sounds drew us out to the Sagrada Familia, where we danced into our last night at a small live music festival.

Like the evenings before, we used the "too much" last good-night drink on the terrace at home for exchanging nonsense and practical jokes as well as for processing the gained and spun inspirations into new agency ideas.

Barcelona, la vida loca!
