Scheinbar mitten im Dschungel liegt unsere Villa im landestypischen Stil. Die ersten Augenblicke des vielversprechenden Tages beginnen mit einem typisch balinesi­ schen Frühstück: Mangosteen, Rambutan und Salak kommen hier in den Fruchtsalat. Gestärkt geht es auf in die Stadt. In Ubud ist das hinduistische Erbe Balis noch sehr lebendig; beinahe an jeder Straßenecke steht ein Tempel. The starting point for our voyage of discovery is the artist town Ubud, in the centre of the island. Characteristically for the country, our villa seems to be in the middle of the jungle. The first moments of the new day start with a typical Balinese breakfast: mangosteen, rambutan and salak are the ingredients for a fresh fruit salad. Boosted with vitamins, we head into town.
